The moment thousands of fans have anxiously been waiting for has arrived. One Music Festival has revealed the first round of artists set to perform at the seventh annual event on September 10, 2016. The festival will bring together the best of urban music at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta. The festival attracts music legends and contemporaries from genres like Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk, Disco, and Soul.


Already earning considerable buzz after adding a second stage this 2016, One MusicFest is continuing the momentum with what promises to be the best lineup yet. Performers include: Wale, SZA, Big Krit ,Kendrick LamarLauryn HillDj Khaled, Janelle Monae, The Roots, A$AP Rocky. Grammy Award nominated artist J.Cole will also launch his new summer line for his Dreamville collection.


“We were really happy with the lineup from One MusicFest 2016 but the lineup for 2016 has us over the moon. We constantly challenge ourselves to bring something even better, and this year’s challenge was well worth it,”  says Asia Jeton , who is a promotions coordinator at One MusicFest.


Founded by Jason Carter, ONE MusicFest has been one of the Southeast’s largest home-grown musical arts festival to date, including over 10,000 plus attendees. Carter has brought Atlanta music lovers the best and the brightest urban alternative acts and has allowed them to perform in a welcoming, hospitable setting, creating an atmosphere where everyone can enjoy and discover music. One of the largest premier hip-hop festivals is set to return for its 14th time to Atlanta, Ga, with a host of artists and speakers.Organizers for Atlanta’s A3C Festival & Conference have announced some of the scheduled participants for the Oct. 5-9 event.

A3C (an acronym for “all three coasts”) estimates more than 25,000 fans attended the festival in 2015. A3C’s conference series brings together hip-hop industry heavyweights for panels and workshops in topics such as artist development, technology, film and video, style/fashion, pro audio, and social responsibility.



The first wave of artists and speakers includes; De La Soul, Rakim, Cam’ron, Dame Dash, Just Blaze, Curren$y  & Jet Life, Jean Grae, Cyhi the Prynce, Pharoahe Monch, Organized Noize, PNB Rock, Machine Gun Kelly, and 2 Chainz. Additionally, one half of the hip-hop duo Outkast, Big Boi, will serve as a keynote speaker on the panel discussion entitled “Got Purp?” The panel is named after Boi’s first independent project after reaching stardium with the group Outkast. The project entitled Big Boi Presents…got purp? Became the first project of his record label, Purple Ribbon All Stars. The panel will give independent artist the formula to create a hit song.

The A3C festival not only allows mainstream artists to teach panels but also allows them to perform on the festival main stage. Additionally, the festival also allows independent artists a chance to perform at showcases and gain exposure. More than 50 up-and-coming artists applied to perform through the concert-booking website Sonicbids. Among the already-selected artists are; Looni, Mykko Montana, Super Ace, 2kool Sneakyy and Lil Donald.


One of the first major A3C Showcases is put on by hip-hop sensation Future record label Freebandz. The label will be hosting a major showcase, the winner of which gets to sign a deal with Freebandz.


Additional  showcase participants will be announced in August and September.


The week-long event will be held in various creative areas around Atlanta, such as Old 4th Ward, Edgewood Avenue, East Atlanta Village and Castleberry Hills. Specific stage locations have yet to be announced.The conference series will take place at the Loudermilk Center, which will also feature vendors ranging from fashion designers to media outlets, artist managers. The SAE Institute of Atlanta will house the A3C Pro-Audio Conference Center.


Last year’s lineup of artists and speakers included; Black Thought, 2 Chainz, The LOX, B.o.B, Bun B, Scarface, Mystikal & Juvenile, Twista, Rocko, Mannie Fresh, Slaughterhouse and more.

Separate passes for musical performances and conferences start at $119. All-access passes start at $199. VIP passes, which include access to all musical performances and conferences, as well as special industry networking events, start at $399.

Kota Santez Performs The Anthem On the Record

Chicago native Kota Santez premiered his latest single, live on  “At 16 years old ,Kota Santez’s future started to take shape as he began writing and rapping consistentlyhile attending school at Cedar Grove High School. Kota says, “ That’s when I realized I had something great for the world to hear.” From that point on ,he began to cultivate his talents.

Influenced by many greats, such as Nas, Biggie, Andre 3000 and Jay Z,Kota Santez is nothing less of a soulful rapper with a passion for creating dope lyrics. In his latest single “K to the Izzo also referred to as “Kota Santez creates a feel good tune but also delivers a strong message about promoting social consciousness. Kota says, “ I wanted to make a song that you can listen to at anytime because “it has such good energyut still gives the people something to think about.”  Riding the up tempo beat with a melodic hook, Kota sure knows how to creates positive vibrations.

“Before Kota premiered his song to one of the toughest indie crowds in Atlanta through On the Record, he was nervous. His nerves stemmed from the show’s reputation for having well-informed audiences.”

On the Record has been a staple in the indie music scene for the past 3 years and has been credited as the underground 106 & Park. Hosted by Chianexo and Amani every other Wednesday, the show gives the audience as chance to engage in social conversations and enjoy live sets from some of Atlanta’s most promising up-and-coming stars.

Backed by a full band Third Shift Generation,Kota began to look at ease as he showed off his latest lyrical masterpiece. The addition of the band really gave the performances a nice vibe and intensity. Santez hopes the band will join him during his performance at the All Three Coast music festival this coming fall.

After getting a lot of buzz his “that was released last year, Kota decided  to give his fans something new in 2016 with his new self-tilted mixtape “Kota Santez”. Hosted by Atlanta DJ’s DJ Iceberg DJ Grady, the new mixtape continues the theme of Kota’s soulful melodic sound” and it’s safe to safe to say after this performance that this tape will be something worth listening to The tape even features artists like Miroj, Breezy Castilleo and Nino Blaq.

On Saturday, April 4, 2016,  Abel Hoops and Fresh Empire hosted a Hoop4Flint celebrity basketball game to help the many people affected by the Flint Michigan water crisis.

Approximately 99,000, in Flint, Michigan has a significant number of people who have been affected by the water crisis. According to Michigan state website, lead contamination was found in Flint’s water. Charles Hancock, aHoop4Flint supporter says, “I am appalled by the actions of Flint’s officials for allowing the water system to be affected this long. This is not a mistake or natural disaster, but rather corruption from our government with no one being held accountable, even after Governor Synder’s  emails. It’s important for us to help out where we can because we can’t count on our system to help us when we are in need.”

The event was held at Crim High School and was hosted by Atlanta V-103’s own Ferrari Simmons and Shar Bate. The was also music played by DJ New Era who is a member of DJ   Holiday infamous DJ crew. The Hoop4Flint event is a fundraising event to raise money to purchase home filtration systems and donate clean water to Flint residents, which will be delivered personally to Flint residents by the Hoop4Flint event board.

Event coordinater Shar Bates’ said , “I am devastated by the water crisis that has put the entire city of Flint in a state of emergency. In recognizing the great work that some community leaders have been doing, it is my hope we can help by raising the money needed to ensure that the people who have been affected receive the care that they need today and well into the future. The goal for the event was to collect approximately 1,000 shower filters to give to the community of Flint, Michigan.”


There was a crowd of over 500+ people cheering along as they watched their favorite local celebrities compete in a friendly game of basketball. On the teams were fan favorites Kap G, Cool Amerika,Fly Guy DC, Mykko Montana,Yung Booke and more. Also, celebrities such as Love and Hip Hip Atlanta stars Tammy Riveria, Atlanta native Tameka “Tiny” Harris, TK N Cash, Lil Donald and more participated in the event.

Thanks to its supporters, Hoop4Flint raised over 2,500 cases of water and 1,200 shower filters to donate to Flint. If you were not able to make this event, then there is still an opportunity for you to donate at

Last night March 19, 2016 Tinashe ‘Joyride World Tour’ made it’s way to the legendary Center Stage venue in Atlanta, where she performed in front of a sold out crowd of ecstatic fans in Atlanta. The room was filled with high energy, excitement and an amazing vibrent stage design. Fans sang along word for word and danced all night as Tinashe performed tracks from her first studio album “Aquarius” and debuted songs from her up and coming album “Joyride”. The multi-talented entertainer boosted her popularity after performing a long side Ciara and Jason Derulo for a Janet Jackson tribute during the 2015 Bet Awards.  With this Joyride tour and album Tinashe shows her evolution in career and her artistry. Unlike her previous tours Tinashe recruited a new team of dancers and includes a number of set and wardrobe changes throughout the show.

Joyride world tour stop in Atlanta marks the 16th stop on her 48 show run. In efforts to build anticipation for Joyride, Tinashe has also released two singles including “Party Favors,” featuring Young Thug, and “Player ” featuring her labelmate Chris Brown.The Los Angeles native also collaborated with pop music producers Max Martin and Dr. Luke for the Joyride project which will help push her to a mainstream audience. Tinashe Joyride World Tour is the songstress first time headlining her own tour. Last year Tinashe toured the North America as a opening act on Nicki Manji’s “Pink Print Tour“ a long side Dej Loaf, Rae  Sremmurd, and Meek Mills as well as a opening act for Katy Perry’s Prismatic Tour.
