A3C Festival & Conference Brings the Hottest Artist to Atlanta

 

On July 7th – 9th All Three Coast Festival & Conference took over the city of Atlanta. All Three Coast Festival & Conference is the preeminent hip-hop event  and is critically coined, “hip-hop’s family reunion.” The independently produced A3C Festival & Conference birthed from regional showcases and to now an internationally recognized and nationally acclaimed hip-hop cultural experience. Designed to empower, engage and energize the community that shape and define hip-hop culture. The A3C Festival provides the best platform for artist discovery, while celebrating Hip-Hop’s trailblazers, influencers and milestones. With live performances from over 500 of Hip-Hop’s most iconic, talented and promising artists take place across 75+ shows in the Old 4th Ward and East Atlanta Village. The 2017 A3C Conference examines the intersection of Music, Technology and Culture.

The A3C Conference is an unparalleled opportunity to connect and learn from Hip-Hop influencers, artists, organizations, and industry experts. The Conference Center and Pro-Audio Center was held at Loudermilk Center and SAE Institute of Atlanta, The Conference Center portion of the festival is made up of uniquely panels and mentorship sessions, live podcasts, and talent workshops. The festivals headline sit down interview was BMI Presents Conversation with Jermaine Dupri. The ballroom was filled with over 300 festival attendees all-attentive to Jermaine Dupri spilling his blueprint on becoming successful in the music industry.

Following the full day of panels, workshops and interviews, A3C partnered with Mass Appeal for evening full of over 250 musical showcases spread over Old 4th Ward venues throughout the three day festival. The festival closed on Sunday at Festival ground for a six concert filled with some of hip hop hottest artist such as Cardi B, Migos, Vic Mensa, Cyhi the Prince and many more.

The moment thousands of fans have anxiously been waiting for has arrived. One Music Festival has revealed the first round of artists set to perform at the seventh annual event on September 10, 2016. The festival will bring together the best of urban music at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta. The festival attracts music legends and contemporaries from genres like Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk, Disco, and Soul.

 

Already earning considerable buzz after adding a second stage this 2016, One MusicFest is continuing the momentum with what promises to be the best lineup yet. Performers include: Wale, SZA, Big Krit ,Kendrick LamarLauryn HillDj Khaled, Janelle Monae, The Roots, A$AP Rocky. Grammy Award nominated artist J.Cole will also launch his new summer line for his Dreamville collection.

 

“We were really happy with the lineup from One MusicFest 2016 but the lineup for 2016 has us over the moon. We constantly challenge ourselves to bring something even better, and this year’s challenge was well worth it,”  says Asia Jeton , who is a promotions coordinator at One MusicFest.

 

Founded by Jason Carter, ONE MusicFest has been one of the Southeast’s largest home-grown musical arts festival to date, including over 10,000 plus attendees. One of the largest premier hip-hop festivals is set to return for its 14th time to Atlanta, Ga, with a host of artists and speakers.Organizers for Atlanta’s A3C Festival & Conference have announced some of the scheduled participants for the Oct. 5-9 event.

A3C (an acronym for “all three coasts”) estimates more than 25,000 fans attended the festival in 2015. A3C’s conference series brings together hip-hop industry heavyweights for panels and workshops in topics such as artist development, technology, film and video, style/fashion, pro audio, and social responsibility.

 

 

The first wave of artists and speakers includes; De La Soul, Rakim, Cam’ron, Dame Dash, Just Blaze, Curren$y  & Jet Life, Jean Grae, Cyhi the Prynce, Pharoahe Monch, Organized Noize, PNB Rock, Machine Gun Kelly, and 2 Chainz. Additionally, one half of the hip-hop duo Outkast, Big Boi, will serve as a keynote speaker on the panel discussion entitled “Got Purp?” The panel is named after Boi’s first independent project after reaching stardium with the group Outkast. The project entitled Big Boi Presents…got purp? Became the first project of his record label, Purple Ribbon All Stars. The panel will give independent artist the formula to create a hit song.

The A3C festival not only allows mainstream artists to teach panels but also allows them to perform on the festival main stage. Additionally, the festival also allows independent artists a chance to perform at showcases and gain exposure. More than 50 up-and-coming artists applied to perform through the concert-booking website Sonicbids. Among the already-selected artists are; Looni, Mykko Montana, Super Ace, 2kool Sneakyy and Lil Donald.

 

One of the first major A3C Showcases is put on by hip-hop sensation Future record label Freebandz. The label will be hosting a major showcase, the winner of which gets to sign a deal with Freebandz.

 

Additional  showcase participants will be announced in August and September.

 

The week-long event will be held in various creative areas around Atlanta, such as Old 4th Ward, Edgewood Avenue, East Atlanta Village and Castleberry Hills. Specific stage locations have yet to be announced.The conference series will take place at the Loudermilk Center, which will also feature vendors ranging from fashion designers to media outlets, artist managers. The SAE Institute of Atlanta will house the A3C Pro-Audio Conference Center.

 

Last year’s lineup of artists and speakers included; Black Thought, 2 Chainz, The LOX, B.o.B, Bun B, Scarface, Mystikal & Juvenile, Twista, Rocko, Mannie Fresh, Slaughterhouse and more.

Separate passes for musical performances and conferences start at $119. All-access passes start at $199. VIP passes, which include access to all musical performances and conferences, as well as special industry networking events, start at $399.
