Atlanta,Ga (Feb 12. 2016) –  With SXSW 2016 gearing up right around there Atlanta’s very own No Days Off Radio announces the 2nd Annual No Days Off Da Juice Concert Series. With the help of this years sponsorship of Home Team Apparel, Lyft, Daily Freshness and Belair and this year the first and second place winner heads to Austin,Tx.

With NDO Radio captivating the internet radio waves in Atlanta they are now giving local artist a chance to perform at the historical hip hop festival; SXSW.  On March 5th,2016 NDO Radio will host the first portion of the mobile series at The Vinyl at Center Stage. Da Juice competition gives indie artist their chance to proclaim the title of being the hottest independent artist in the south. The contest will be hosted by D.Will and E.A. Jace and participants will be judged by industry professionals and  will critiqued in three categories crowd participation, stage presence, and quality of music. First and second place winner will receive a free slot on the NDO Radio Da Juice performance stage in Austin,Texas on March 18th. Last years winner Black Walker says, ” The experience and knowledge I’ve gained from attending SXSW and Da Juice competition has allowed me to network and touch bases with a larger audience.

No Days Off officially announced the first four headliners for the concert series which includes Breezy Castilleo, Merlo, J Harvard and last years’ Da Juice winner Black Walker. One of the largest premier hip-hop festivals is set to return for its 14th time to Atlanta, Ga, with a host of artists and speakers.Organizers for Atlanta’s A3C Festival & Conference have announced some of the scheduled participants for the Oct. 5-9 event.

A3C (an acronym for “all three coasts”) estimates more than 25,000 fans attended the festival in 2015. A3C’s conference series brings together hip-hop industry heavyweights for panels and workshops in topics such as artist development, technology, film and video, style/fashion, pro audio, and social responsibility.

 

 

The first wave of artists and speakers includes; De La Soul, Rakim, Cam’ron, Dame Dash, Just Blaze, Curren$y  & Jet Life, Jean Grae, Cyhi the Prynce, Pharoahe Monch, Organized Noize, PNB Rock, Machine Gun Kelly, and 2 Chainz. Additionally, one half of the hip-hop duo Outkast, Big Boi, will serve as a keynote speaker on the panel discussion entitled “Got Purp?” The panel is named after Boi’s first independent project after reaching stardium with the group Outkast. The project entitled Big Boi Presents…got purp? Became the first project of his record label, Purple Ribbon All Stars. The panel will give independent artist the formula to create a hit song.

The A3C festival not only allows mainstream artists to teach panels but also allows them to perform on the festival main stage. Additionally, the festival also allows independent artists a chance to perform at showcases and gain exposure. More than 50 up-and-coming artists applied to perform through the concert-booking website Sonicbids. Among the already-selected artists are; Looni, Mykko Montana, Super Ace, 2kool Sneakyy and Lil Donald.

 

One of the first major A3C Showcases is put on by hip-hop sensation Future record label Freebandz. The label will be hosting a major showcase, the winner of which gets to sign a deal with Freebandz.

 

Additional  showcase participants will be announced in August and September.

 

The week-long event will be held in various creative areas around Atlanta, such as Old 4th Ward, Edgewood Avenue, East Atlanta Village and Castleberry Hills. Specific stage locations have yet to be announced.The conference series will take place at the Loudermilk Center, which will also feature vendors ranging from fashion designers to media outlets, artist managers. The SAE Institute of Atlanta will house the A3C Pro-Audio Conference Center.

 

Last year’s lineup of artists and speakers included; Black Thought, 2 Chainz, The LOX, B.o.B, Bun B, Scarface, Mystikal & Juvenile, Twista, Rocko, Mannie Fresh, Slaughterhouse and more.

Separate passes for musical performances and conferences start at $119. All-access passes start at $199. VIP passes, which include access to all musical performances and conferences, as well as special industry networking events, start at $399.

Kota Santez Performs The Anthem On the Record

Chicago native Kota Santez premiered his latest single, live on  “At 16 years old ,Kota Santez’s future started to take shape as he began writing and rapping consistentlyhile attending school at Cedar Grove High School. Kota says, “ That’s when I realized I had something great for the world to hear.” From that point on ,he began to cultivate his talents.

Influenced by many greats, such as Nas, Biggie, Andre 3000 and Jay Z,Kota Santez is nothing less of a soulful rapper with a passion for creating dope lyrics. In his latest single “K to the Izzo also referred to as “Kota Santez creates a feel good tune but also delivers a strong message about promoting social consciousness. Kota says, “ I wanted to make a song that you can listen to at anytime because “it has such good energyut still gives the people something to think about.”  Riding the up tempo beat with a melodic hook, Kota sure knows how to creates positive vibrations.

“Before Kota premiered his song to one of the toughest indie crowds in Atlanta through On the Record, he was nervous. His nerves stemmed from the show’s reputation for having well-informed audiences.”

On the Record has been a staple in the indie music scene for the past 3 years and has been credited as the underground 106 & Park. Hosted by Chianexo and Amani every other Wednesday, the show gives the audience as chance to engage in social conversations and enjoy live sets from some of Atlanta’s most promising up-and-coming stars.

Backed by a full band Third Shift Generation,Kota began to look at ease as he showed off his latest lyrical masterpiece. The addition of the band really gave the performances a nice vibe and intensity. Santez hopes the band will join him during his performance at the All Three Coast music festival this coming fall.

After getting a lot of buzz his “that was released last year, Kota decided  to give his fans something new in 2016 with his new self-tilted mixtape “Kota Santez”. Hosted by Atlanta DJ’s DJ Iceberg DJ Grady, the new mixtape continues the theme of Kota’s soulful melodic sound” and it’s safe to safe to say after this performance that this tape will be something worth listening to The tape even features artists like Miroj, Breezy Castilleo and Nino Blaq.
